Consul General’s Trip to Montreal September 2018
It was a 7 Bon Bourgignon Dinner. There were 90 attendees amongst which were the Grand Maître from Maĉon, Bernard Bénas, the Consul General from Canada, Carole Baillargeon and the Chancelier of the Montreal Chapter, Maurice Collette.
Q3 Giants Wine Fest
Another fantastic night at the Ballpark with great wine tasting beforehand. This was the 2nd year in a row we have done this winefest. We tasted wines from Castello di Amorosa, Sterling, Beringer and many more. We had 8 members and a total of 12 people attend and it was a great night with a great Giants win!
Q2 2018 Caymus & Spring Mountain
The group ventured out to Caymus Vineyards for an intimate tasting experience on their beautifully landscaped grounds. We samples wines by the Wagner family, Caymus, Mer Soleil, Emmolo, and Conundrum. Then, over to Spring Mountain who did not disappoint. We sampled many handcrafted limited production wines modeled after some of Franch’s finest. With only 6 members in attendance, it was small but it was a great day!
Q1 2018- Induction dinner

We inducted 3 new members at our annual induction dinner on January 19th: Kathryn Anderson, Nelson Knuth and Steven Ventrello. Welcome, new Members! Then we enjoyed a wonderful six course meal prepared by the French Club’s Chef Lionel. The food paired nicely with wines from Chrissa Imports. It was a very intimate dinner and it was a great time to catch up with our members. Thank you Steven for playing the accordion, Sylvia for the marvelous wines and Lionel and Marcus for an unforgettable evening at the French Club.
